ABOUT US
The Media Innovation Orchestra - MIO - is the attempt and the call for an alternative orchestral form in the worlds musical landscape and the cosmopolitan city of classical music, Vienna.
Crossover arrangements and the repertoire of the technoid 90s enrich the classic concert hall business since 2017. Classic meets minimal techno, pop and mainstream genres, that is the motto.
This successful format, which has already been tried and tested several times in Germany and around the world, should also work in Vienna, Tokio, New York and anywhere in the world.
The composer Dara Navrodska, who lives in Germany, already produced the first orchestral scores for the MIO in 2017. The compositions for Moby - Flower and Real to Reel - I like to move it move it were first worked out, rehearsed and recorded in June 2017 with choir and orchestra. In addition to the pieces mentioned, the two new arrangements by Gary Jules - Mad World and by Coolio - Gangsters Paradies were also recently arranged.
